I've not yet worked with Kubernetes. What's the pain? All of it?

One application, one proxy can be easy, but debugging makes no fun.

With Kubernetes, a few more layers come into play, as the scaling /orchestration requires abstraction and segmentation.

Which is fine and dandy, but quite demanding when trying to debug or understand complex environemnts... You have to traverse each layer :)
