Ladies and Gentlemen,
Has someone of you created a sexy looking gallery for the web and maybe got it on github to let me throw an eye on it?
It would be sooooo fucking nice!

    @monzakaz Thank you! I appreciate it.

    @hacker okay I checked it. I like this style (few pictures in the footer section)
    But will you tell me now how it works or did you just want to show me yours as example?
  • 2
    @jakobev Sure!
    Basically, it works with JS. You load the preview on your page using an 'img' tag and place that 'img' tag in an 'a' tag. When the user clicks on the link (image), MagnificPopup handles it and shows you the image as a popup. You can customise exactly how you want it to popup or look. You can add captions to the images, too.

    Visit MagnificPopup's documentation (it's really helpful):

    I hope this helped you!

    @AllenII
    Is there a demo for it so we can see it in action?
  • 1
    @hacker if you wanna see it in live action. Check out http://madkapbeachexperience.com (the site i made it for) and head to the gallery. No idea why i didnt think of linking to it in the first place

    @AllenII your gallery "Not found"

    I finished my gallery now took me 5 hours cuz of different bugs and code mistakes.. If I come home later I'll make the changes on github and show you that version
    (it is not mine, I saw it on YouTube)
    And at that version I want to create a slide bar, but this will be in the coming week.

    @jakobev thank you for that heads up. Now i know not to open this up on my work machine.
  • 0
    @AllenII I'll change content
    Could you look at the code?
  • 2
    And i looked anyways. At least i know now what the gallery is for 😂😂😂

    @AllenII looool xD
    Content doesn't matter I just need help to get all responsive :/

    Found your culprit: your nav was set to 500px. Sent a pull request with the small fix
  • 0
    @AllenII thank you for fixing it. Now the gallery pics show off in the same size!
    Only on mobile the gallery's "main picture" isn't centered to the screen. :D and cause of that I think it is possible to scroll right.. Ugly
  • 0
    @jakobev that's an easy fix too. Just use max-{width/height} instead. So on mobile it'll automatically fit to the viewport. Sorry, but i am at work on a computer others can pass by and see, so i didn't scroll that far down

    @AllenII ok no problem, I try it thank you
