TheNewGuy803ySounds like a significant improvement in management :)
I believe the manger / project lead is responsible for the project success.
The job of this person is to split/organize work in small chunks (for the devs).
.. and from my experience another MAIN responsiblity from management is to be a stress stopper!
E.g. customers are unhappy and pressure the company to produce faster.
Then a good management will not forward this stress to development/programming.
(To communicate the problems is an okay part, but distinct from forwarding stress)
And it seems your new management is way better in reducing (external) stress on you/ dev team
Happy for you :) -
@TheNewGuy Yes, management got better. I have no anxiety as such as I don't have to produce concrete reasons to each obstacle, instead I'm able to work more independently.

Wow, it must have been a revelation when you figured out you're in fact a person!
Knowing the way you should be treated a super power. I am seeing a lot difference in my previous and the current manager. Ex-manager thought that we are robots and we work strictly 8 hours, if some problem came during the project execution, he asked questions which felt like I am answerable to unknowns and felt like that I am being blamed.
My new manager, whenever any problem comes, she takes it as a challange, she tries to solve it. There are quirks too but I feel a lot freedom now.
My anxiety is gone. I am only stressed sometimes which is a big upgrade for me.
I know better now that how I want to be treated, I am a person. Have feelings and yes I'm not perfect so lack basic things but I'm willing to improve.
