I've always hoped some hacker(s) had been discovering and saving a plethora of zero-days, exploits, credentials and backdoors for one of the big companies like FB or AWS. Then release a controlled virtual demolition that starts corrupting all their backups and works they're way in to deleting all the application servers.

I'm sure Facebook will be back, but I hope they're down for at least a week. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will be like the 2011 Sony hack that took down the PS network for a month.
