edsdame968yI tried to read that one. It's not that bad, but the whole book is without exercises. I am not sure, how you can learn a language without much exercise...

@edsdame the thing is I've been learning Android for a while, but (because I come from a business background) I still can't get the OOP concepts right, along with some other Java basics.
So I'm hoping this will help me make sense of the android exercises that I have. If not, I'll pick another book with java exercises -
@edsdame excercises are a waste of time... Not fun and oftentimes artificially prolongated. Its much better to try to apply the concepts on your own on a fun idea.

Well, I guess then it depends on the person. I, for one, need the guidance of exercises. -
@edsdame yeah... Learning is very person dependent... And oftentimes exercises help. But to me they make me forget everything
When it doesn't matter anymore if you read or not, because the author already have been paid!
