@biscuit Right? After a while it just gets hard to sift through the text. Against a white background everything is much more readable

I like the light theme for most things to be honest, including devRant. What I really cannot understand is why are dark-theme addicts so bloody obsessively bigoted about it? It's just a simple personal preference isn't it? Or am i missing something deep and significant?

Player221239y@MrXero essentially, we're only obsessive if there isn't one available. Player221239y@MrXero essentially, we're only obsessive if there isn't one available.

It's the thing of staring at a bright white piece of shit at like 3am vs staring at a dark thing

retnikt67119yI don't mind light themes. If I prefer the dark ones, but I'm not one of those people who *have to* use a dark theme. retnikt67119yI don't mind light themes. If I prefer the dark ones, but I'm not one of those people who *have to* use a dark theme.

I'm with you there, I tend to find stuff like syntax highlighting etc is easier to recognise and it looks a bit cleaner/more modern to me. But then again I code mostly in the day at work so it works best in a lit room. Although i use light in VS and dark in VS Code so I dunno. I do tend to set things as dark mostly on my phone as I tend to read on that more at night (as I am now on devRant so will have to try out the dark setting!)

@Player2 nice, I like it! Got like a midnight blue kind of thing going :). First day on devRant and I'm hooked, it's not good to bottle things up haha!

Unpopular opinion: I actually like the light theme
