Have you ever use Ubuntu (or any Linux that use Pango to render text) for a significant amount of time that you notice that text in Mac OS is just not that crisp? To the point that it looks blurry, even more so in non-retina display.
I want to justify buying new Macbook for that sweet M1 silicon, but I don't think I can live with the blurry text. I rarely use built-in display on a laptop, but it is hard to find external monitor with Retina resolution (200+ dpi) with decent size, or ultrawide for that matter.
