I start my first ever job as a junior developer in about 3 hours...I'm nervous, excited, scared, terrified, petrified all at the same time.

Junior front end..Any tips?

Be inqusitive — learning is part of the job description for a junior dev. Observe the senior devs, both how they work individually and as a team. Favor pragmatism over idealism. Speak up if you think there's a better way to do something, but defer to those who have the benefit of experience.

This may be obvious, but I thought I'd put it out there. If you aren't sure how to do something, research/try to resolve it on your own first. If you are still stuck, then ask for help. It looks better to show them you're trying to fix it yourself instead of just immediately asking for help. 😃

Learn TDD and try to integrate it in your workflow. Also read The Pragmatic Programmer if you haven't.

@Kyoton I worked 25 hours a week in my day job and spend about a year using every free hour and every day off to learn code..Post progress of what I'm working on, on social media. Also on my social media accounts I put that I'm looking for a junior role. 2 CEO'S approached me and both offered me jobs :)

@loumorgsy I've been doing something similar. I'm in a bootcamp, but I have been posting bits and pieces of my progress on social media. That's incredible you were approached! I am still in the search and always looking to keep going!
