Bug-report:

Fastly pressing 2 different items in the bottombar results into a disabled content.

Pressing an item again fixes it, but still...

Correction: Pressing a different item and then the previous item causes it

    I can confirm this

@dfox He is right... I was able to repeat this bug.

Reproducable on an OnePlus 3T running Android 7.0 stock ROM without root and devRant app version 1.7.2.0 from the Google PlayStore. Clean grey color at my side. Without the black parts like on the screenshot above.

@paradonym Those black parts are the result of screenshot- and devrant image compression

@Awlex how do you compress a static color into multiple ones? Can't imagine how. Should be "pixel range x to y = #hex"

@paradonym I have no idea myself, but I've already seen rants about devrant compression the shit out of its images

@dfox just to be secure, I'm summoning you again!

    Yeah happened here too
But I guess the bottom dock is not meant to fiddled too much with.

@sam9669 but that's what users do. Hiliarously crazy usage just to find that bugs. I remember an opensuse (or something other) with a crashing lockscreen process when you pressed enter with about 100 keypresses per minute... Someone has to find bugs, that's what users do...

@paradonym abour 100 keys per minute? That's less that 2 per second. That's some nice tolerance against use rinput

@paradonym then we should also call @trogus for this one, I think he will notice this.

Nice find, very easy to reproduce. @dfox

Thanks, this is on my list of stuff to fix but it's pretty low priority since it rarely happens under normal use and is easy to make work. It's been reported a couple of times :)
