Maybe you should learn negotiation skills.

It could just be your current company is paying shit.

There is a demand for devs with experience, at least where I live, so if you work for a bad company its quite possible the salary is as bad to.

And if that is yearly difference I can say I raised my salary by more when I switched jobs a few years back, and I even liked the former one ;)

I looked specifically for remote positions. So it gave me access to employers outside my smaller midwest city. My negotiation skills are pretty ok, the salary I was offered is pretty abnormal for my area/age, but I could always get better
