@molaram remember, piss, not shit.
Piss.
This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but a whiz.. -
Rebelling is always a possibility. Starting from telling economists to use data and prove their claims or shut the fuck up.
We are currently guided by people who pretend they are not guessing by other people guess… “Warren Buffet says so, must be true” man, in science you don’t give a fuck if a scientist is good or not for a good reason!
And continuing with capitalism I guess… it’s hard to think of a new system, but we need to start accepting there is no job for everyone and that forcing people to work in bs jobs is not only pointless, but also counter productive… and that our goal should be to have more happy people, not more people on top -
@molaram if it was easy we wouldn’t be in this situation, but there are some interesting movements lately… low wage workers not taking shit jobs anymore is a start, for instance

@piratefox with the amount of interference in the markets, both to keep out small competitions and bankrupt those who can't pay-to-play, combine with the amount of monopolization, we're just about at either peak late stage capitalism or state capitalism.
Enjoy the mandatory ration of victory gin winston. -
iiii92263y@Wisecrack sounds like something typically attributed to communism. Who would have thought that unrestricted capitalism was a shitty idea. 🤔🤔🤔

@Wisecrack I just call it late stage disease ☠️
The most absurd thing will always be the rich-wanna-be, ready to always defend megacorps.
Maybe I should start playing more cyberpunk (tabletop) in order to study what awaits us
Technology will be the end of human liberty.
“{9} The post-totalitarian system touches people at every step, but it does so with its ideological gloves on. This is why life in the system is so thoroughly permeated with hypocrisy and lies: government by bureaucracy is called popular government; the working class is enslaved in the name of the working class; … Because the regime is captive to its own lies, it must falsify everything. It falsifies the past. It falsifies the present, and it falsifies the future. It falsifies statistics. …
{10} Individuals need not believe all these mystifications, but they must behave as though they did, or they must at least tolerate them in silence, or get along well with those who work with them. For this reason, however, they must live within a lie. They need not accept the lie. It is enough for them to have accepted their life with it and in it. For by this very fact, individuals confirm the system, fulfill the system, make the system, are the system. . . . .”
