Instead of using OneNote, Evernote, etc I'm thinking of using a git repo where I would write notes, save bookmarks, links, information, everything with markdown.

    @CozyPlanes I haven't thinking about this but yes, why not public? Thanks for this idea.

    @thmnmlst why?

    @tomb you want other people to see your notes? REALLY?

    @CozyPlanes technical ones (what I'm learning, what I've found interesting on various subjects) yes, no problem. As for what is private... I taught this is out of question in the case of a public repo.

    @tomb what if other people make pull requests, make commits, make bunch if new branches and tags, add fules, edit files................

    It is your choice

    @thmnmlst yes, you're right with this. The private things are out of questions but other technical things, lists, notes, etc... anyway I don't expect anyone to be interested in this.

    @CozyPlanes that can become a public curated project...

    @CozyPlanes yeah, I've noticed after I set it up. Coming from other language than english, it wasn't obvious at first. I think the nickname can be changed now in devrant.

    @tomb it is okay, but you can change it yeah, but be careful, ince every 6 months and other people can use tomb immediately after you changed your username

    @CozyPlanes ever heard of dotfiles? Most people host them publicly

    @tomeb I use private gists at GitHub for that

    I'm using a public repo to take notes and track my #100DaysOfCode challenge. Plus, learning deep markdown
