I know a few of those in my org.
It sucks, they get power to ask for shit, we git jira and Salesforce because they think those are rhe Best tools and they will fix their shitty processed.

Then, management came down to ask us to revisit who needs access to things like gitlab because we need to dave money... But we are paying fir a Atlasian and salesforce.
