mundo0349793yJust send a casual message about anything, people are allowed to ask each other how they are.
It is not a big deal until it is, overcome your anxiety. -
A starting point would be to ask how's it going in his new team and what are they doing
-
bruterik3013yThe next thing you can talk about is what your team is doing.
Just try it. If you guys get along there is nothing to worry about. And to me it's totally natural to check how somebody is doing. -
Replying to the comments here, I just think that he is smart and people better than me are either already trying om him or he might be ij a relationship. Thinking all this makes me wanna go for no.

@true-dev001 so you're giving up without even trying?
I mean right now it's just you imagining how your manager's social environment is, but you don't know with certainty. -
@-ANGRY-STUDENT- Honestly, I have only stalked him. He looks so social. Confident. By listening to him, seems like he is into self improvement.
Me, not so social but given then right booze I am party person. Confident generally but not in work or meetings. I'm also in self improvement.
Look wise, I am average. He seems like a person who might be into hot girls only. But seriously I love his smile.
I know this all sounds a little too much overthinking but I just don't know. I actually talked to him after he moved, but carrying on texting without much reason might make him think that I am trying on him. -
@true-dev001 that's what I mean.
You have only stalked him and are jumping into conclusions already before even having had a real conversation with him.
I know how you feel, but you need to somehow approach him, if you seriously want to get to know him. There's no other way. This might as well be your last chance. Life's short. -
@-ANGRY-STUDENT- So, I did. He didn't reply it's been an hour. *sigh* I think I should give up.

So, I realised that I know my manager personally. He has left the team. The thing is, I thought I was crushing on him instead it's just knowing him. I never had any personal conversations. Now, there is nothing I can do to interact. I do not want to seem as someone who likes him as that looks desperate. I know it's not a platform of this kind of posts but any advice? During the whole 1 year lockdown I haven't interacted much with anyone except him and someone from my team. I really see his insta profile 3 times a day. Think about him a lot. Again, do not have a crush, just want to know him more so I get to know if he is nice person to have in my life. Any advice?
