I get really depressed at times and thinks about quitting my job often... normally this happens when I'm assigned work where I have to code! I hate implementation!

    Uh, well, you have to write code. Duh. That's what a dev does.

    Uhm.. sorry.. I don't see the point in becoming a developer if you don't like to code..

    Because having a background in development is pretty crucial for IT managers. I found out I didn't like coding pretty late in my engineering studies... so I specialized in management.

    I'm really hoping this was a troll post for points. No one needs to be on the development side if they get upset enough to quit. Analyst/manager/etc

    @dewguzzler Well. Software engineering is not only about implementation... just like civil engineering is not just about carpentry.
