Yeah but it's lacking. It, for example, doesn't tell me if creating a test automation system that takes away a weekly task of 32 hours (4 browsers, ~8 hours each and continuous deployment) makes sense if it takes around 4 months.

@Godisalie if four months is 80 work days and you spend 4 days a week on that task, isn't the break-even point 81 days into not having to do it, which when you only look at 4 days a week is 20 weeks and a day? (roughly 5 months after the 4 months investment)
Full disclosure I'm awful at maths.
..Also thinking about it after working all that out I'm not even sure if your query was purely for illustrating. 😂 -
@AnonymousGuy Well, of course it breaks even at some point, not counting the maintenance of course, but how should I organise my life according to the infinite knowledge of webcomics if they do not cover every case? ^^
