nerd1658yThat makes a pleasant change to saying it'll take 2 days and the project manager says they've already told the client it'll be 2 hours.

Moicanos448yIn my project it is like: task should take 4 days, project manager says to client it would take 8 days so they pay for more hours, and then gives you 1 or 2 days to finish it

bassebus3418yI get 2 hours instead of 2 days and it should have been in production by yesterday 😂I just need to get myself a time machine :)

oscylo9598y@Bikonja If You cannot change this policy then give huge estimates and maybe just maybe they will realize that estimating bugs is stupid.
-
Bikonja23868y@oscylo they are usually not bad, they realise that the estimate for a bug fix does not make too much sense and they don't say anything if a fix takes much more than it was estimated so I'm ok at the moment. As can be seen from the fact that the estimate was double what I said.
