I got a request on LinkedIn to endorse a past hard-working colleague of mine, but honestly, the only thing I remember about them is that they used to hang a hand-written sign over their cubicle that simply said:

if (!pain){
gain = null;
}

Is writing this a compliment?

    Endorsement or Recommendation?

    @theabbie went and checked and it's a recommendation, not an endorsement for a skill. can't edit the rant.

    It's a compliment of the company looking to hire him wants to make him work overtime regularly because of the managements inability to communicate and listen to the Devs.

    It should be

    @highlight
    gain = pain × perseverance;
