k1rushqa3978y@Jung there are two ways. The one is thru velocities of seismic waves and the other is thru changes in radon emissions. One was failed pretty hard in terms of future development of this theory (all was done in China for about 5 years) so the other one is the only hope for success ...

I once heard somewhere that the moon's position can help with sesmic activity predictions since it causes stress in the magma layer using the same tidal mechanism. Is there some truth to it or is it just an unbased speculation?
