@shashankj It's the same workflow in mercurial where I work. It's often quicker to blow away the repo with your uncommitted files temporarily saved elsewhere and commit fresh than it is to figure out what went wrong with the repo.

I have tried to find solutions which can help me roll back changes.
Deleting and starting from head is the best solution for that.
