Looking at server rentals prices.
Windows ones are, as a rule, about 2x more expensive than linux ones.

Which made me realize the reason why it's usually the more crap tech that wins and spreads:
because usually the more crap tech is free.

We're a bunch of cheapskates willing to impose shit tech on ourselves in the name of saving a few bucks.

In other news, there's no news today.

    We have a no GUI, only kernel windows servers now. (Noone uses them, because, let's be honest, if I'm wiling to do command line, I'll take Linux).

    The answer is : simplicity.

    Configuring DNS server on windows is a joke. 0 knowladge needed compared to bind config files.

    BUT if you JUST search for a minute, there is WEB gui for linux. I like Webmin which I love.
