@magicMirror Rice isn't always a great idea. It has a tendency to leave residue. In this case it wasn't wet enough imo.

Sumafu22484yWash it with distilled water. Distilled water is great for this because it is not electrically conductive.

@magicMirror rice will help dry the moisture out, but all the salts and other stuff that were dissolved in the water will remain and cause corrosion. It's best to disassemble and clean everything if you plan to not throw it in the bin soon.

You should remove it at some point. The longer it's there the worse things can get.
