Start with EC2 and SES.

Then use LAMBDA to do a thing on SES based on something that happens on your EC2.

Then move your DB over to RDS or Dynamo.

Then pull data from like half a dozen API's for no discernable reason. Pipe all your auth through Cognito.

Then move your files to S3.

If at this point your website is somehow still running normally, you're now a cloud architect. Start charging $120 an hour.
