I don't know why I should use such an "ergonomic" keyboard and so far Microsoft couldn't explain it either.
Also it costs as much as a mechanical keyboard, so no thanks. -
lisper12918y@deadlyRants puts your hands and arms in a more natural and comfortable position,
but i dont care about it, i just want my keyboard to feel good -
ste0910418yI received one as a gift about 2 years ago and i use it pretty much every day. Obviously it feels different at the beginning but then it's fantastic to type on. The only two issues i can name are the proprietary receiver instead of Bluetooth (even though the next version has it) and the lack of a power switch. The last is particularly annoying if you want to carry it in a bag because you end up pressing some button and this leads to a quicker battery drain (on the good side, the magnetic battery cover allows for a quick removal)

ste0910418y@lisper for me it's something in the middle between a regular desktop keyboard and a laptop one. The travel distance is longer than my laptop's and generally it feels a lot better of a standard Dell keyboard found in many offices. My best advice is to try it by yourself because it's really a matter of personal tastes. Maybe you can order one from Amazon and try it for a couple days (not just some "hello world my name is Lisper ☺ " and in case you don't like it, send it back.

zantekk4948yI have it and it's quite good. But I prefer my Logitech mechanical keyboard with brown cherry mx switches :)

SnafuAI6848yPretty nice to use for the first months. After the initial period, the buttons tend to become a bit mushy. Also, very hard to type on a normal keyboard after using one of these for a while.
To be honest, I would love one if it came with mechanical switches instead of rubber domes. -
drRoss49148y@Nayan It's ergonomic. The practical sense' is that it's comfortable and better for your wrists.
