@rutee07 Officially just wanted a change. Unofficially I'm pretty sure he's hacked off by certain "politically correct" management decisions, and a certain arse outside our team that keeps interfering and requesting changes on PRs that make zero sense, making life more difficult for everyone.

@rutee07 It's not too bad here, in fairness. There's a certain amount of that wherever you go, especially in bigger companies - I tend to just shrug and accept it as an unavoidable quirk of modern times, so long as it's not directly affecting me. Some people, understandably, get far more frustrated by these things however.

@joaowiciuk
"You can't hire that excellent, friendly guy who you interviewed because we need to meet a diversity quota."
"We're now banning the term 'grandfathering' across the organisation. Everyone needs to attend the diversity meeting to find out why this term is so awful."
...etc. -
@AlmondSauce This is clearly old and non-white people's faul! Fucking assholes should just find a place where they're wanted without disturbing decent young white workers. I feel you, man. Hate when this happens >:(
-
YADU13964y@AlmondSauce god that's terrible. Imagine being offended by the fact that you have older relatives...
Bollocks. Really decent guy in our team just left unexpectedly 😟
