Funny thing is that I know enough reasons only people often find them invalid which doesn't help really :/

sam05928yWhen you love someone truely you should love the person without any reason and conditions, and when you hate Windows you should do the same, hate Windows without any reason and any condition .

I'm used to Linux. It's /home. It's the thing I can always rely on, always find my way quickly and efficiently. It has nothing to do with Windows being competent or not.
So do I love Linux? Yes.
Do I hate windows? Fuck yes, and I'll tell you why.
It's bloated, and non-configurable. What if I don't want IE? Why is it installing Skype and candy crush on install, and candy crush on every update thereafter?
Let's talk updates. Automatic updating of a system is supposed to be a convenience. In Windows, it is pure obligatory annoyance that can affect your work! They've started to make it better, but we're still a far cry from letting us choose what we want to do with our updates.
I like managing my system myself. I would want to review updates and decline if I so choose.
And im not finished! -
Let's talk consistency. Two control panels. And before someone jumps on me with "but there's like a bajillion panels on Linux", it's not about Linux vs windows, and there's a serious difference here.
The two panels are not identical, feature-wise. This means that some options are only found in a sub menu of one or the other. That's not choice. That's a mess.
Check out the brilliant application of their UX guidelines system wide!...Or not.
And so on.
Windows 10 is something in between two states that doesn't seem to know where it's going.
And coming from one of the biggest Corp in the world, that scares me.
And I'm not talking about mild annoyances like Cortana (which you can now turn off, yay!) And the data collection built into the OS that's hard to completely shut down.
So yeah...Basically, not a fan. -
@Synth-Synapses each to their own i guess, im not even slightly annoyed by the things you mentioned, but thats me. Dont misunderstand, i love linux, but never used a gui version because its most important feature (for me) is the powerful terminal (cmd is garbage), so i wouldnt use it instead of windows

I only using Windows 10 for gaming. So it sucks when it pops up saying similar things to "set a time to install updates" and I get killed in BF1.
When people say they hate windows but fail to provide any reason when asked
