@dfox Yay for new items and desks, but I'm still not seeing my world map desk, and that should be a must. Everyone has one like that, no?

@tild3 awwww yeah. 60% keyboards are awesome. I think my first rant was showing that magnificient thing.
V60 with matias quiet switches. Dream to type on, compact, easy to transport mechanical goodness with switches based on alps (Japanese) switches. Nothing quite like it :)

@fox8091 mechanical all the way. If I have the space, I'm not using the laptop keyboard ;). After a while, I really got used to work without the numpad.

I wouldn't say the lack of numpad would bother me, but the lack of arrow keys and end/home/delete buttons however...

@lucas22 same. I wouldn't mind losing the numpad and saving space on my desk. I'm used to pressing the enter key on the numpad using my mouse hand thumb though.

It's mainly the ctrl+shift+home type of combos that would bother me. Except if you can do everything in eg emacs (but I still use Gmail's web UI).

I think I may buy a 60% keyboard for my future compute if I ever have the cash for it.

And I hate that you can't test switches for a week, on a real keyboard, before you buy. I have cherry MX browns and I love them, but I'm really curious about topre and matias
