I made some wired shit back in a day. Running 4 functions “at the same time” ? Done that. (Couple of ASM instructions were needed).
A mini visual file management tool ? Done that too. (Not at level of windows 3.1, but I was pretty proud. Basiclly it was Total commander of today, minus network options)
Mouse support without driver ? Also
Ah itw as fun to work “close” to hardware. Right now there are like 5 abstractions layers between my C# code and hardware.

@NoToJavaScript I wrote a windowing system in DOS that used 320x200 256 color mode on 386. Full mouse support. Those were the days. I started with Turbo Pascal in HS. Later did the windowing system in Turbo C++. I felt like I had graduated to the "big boys" then.
