I really prefer the random simple shape routers.... but there really aren't many options that I want.... so yeah I too have to go with jagged crown models.

You could mount it to the ceiling above your bed and pretend an Australian tarantula is descending towards you

It might be better to have each antenna slanted in a different angle to increase the amount of different signal paths the whole antenna array covers.
That way you can hold your phone or tablet (anything else should be wired anyways) at any angle and still get good stream quality.

The waterbags that are our bodies are pretty good antennas indeed. Too bad there is no way for the phone to profit from that...
