It’s also a waste of your time. Start working on word of mouth clients and building your reputation with humans.

Start off small. And work your way up.

Charge people low cost for dev work. Get reviews. And slowly start charging more.

Show your work, lots of screenshots.

Upwork is garbage. My boyfriend was looking at it for translation stuff and their model is "pay money to make money".
