Do you prefer performance or beauty? You can go for xfce for speed. Plasma is good for looks.

OpenSUSE has tweaked it so that super key actually works as a charm
I like its latest Leap version a lot
Animations are pretty and it consumes about half windows does haha
You should try it

I'd so want GNOME instead of unity, but it just serves me with kernel panics.
