Have you made anything with Elixir? If so, what made you use Elixir for creating it?

Nothing beyond some chat or basic distributed programs for assignments.

A (only text) chat roulette clone, was really fun.

I've built Erlang stuff, not Elixir. We wanted something that was okayishly fast (as in, the bottleneck isn't the compute) and had first class concurrency support, and that would scale well.

I started building a backend with Elixir/Phoenix (for an Ember app) but I realized I didn’t really have time or reason to learn something new.

It was really cool though.

I read Dave Thomas’s book and it was nice.

Have you checked out “live-view” yet? Seems really cool for the right situations.

I breathe live view. Don't think I could go without it in a Phoenix app. I just need to learn how to hook in Pug. :/

@velian hmmm. Can’t get behind that... I prefer handlebars style templating.
