I strive to use better IDEs (like Jetbrains' or VSCode for example), but I swear freaking Eclipse keeps coming back everytime I change jobs.

Maybe life is trying to tell me something and my efforts are fruitless.

I mean at least Eclipse is better than Atmel studio, so there's that.
