    i do not like android 11 :/ feels like it becomes ios with those storage restrictions

    Looks like it allows users to have more control over what happens on their phone. In that sense it looks good.

    @electrineer it's nice after it's built lol, but the process is a pain 🀣

    @nebula you prefer 10?

    What exactly do you need to change because of it when building a rom? I have tried to develop a rom myself a tiny bit, but I've never got as far as I would've wanted to.

    @electrineer How far did you get?

    @h0pk1do I have compiled existing targets with minor tweaks. I have dreamt of getting something to run on some lollipop era devices I have that don't have any custom roms. What's preventing me is that I'm not completely sure where to even start and I have a hunch it may be a waste of time and effort to even try. And I've got plenty of other stuff to do.

    @electrineer you know what's funny!? I was actually thinking about doing the same! I know my old lg k7 was on lollipop and hasn't had any development on it, so thought about making it a project πŸ€”

    @nebula I hear you πŸ‘ even the transitions kind of reminds me of iOS.

    11 makes it easy to spot who was deliberate about their feature usage and who wasn't 🀭

    We're seeing the rehash of "I NEED ACCESS TO ALL THE FEATURES ALL THE TIME DAMMIT" syndrome. Devs hated that when it came in for the same reason.
