montana1428yWait, by "touch type" do you mean type without looking because I'm pretty sure that's just referred to as "typing"..........

@smontana I don't think I looked at the keyboard that much before but I definitely used the wrong fingers and moved my hands around too much.
Oh, and I looked at the keyboard sometimes. -
montana1428y@bluesdriven - well that's awesome you're learning to type. It definitely helps a bunch in any coding-related field. Wish you the best of luck man!
Hardest part is getting the special characters down, but once you get that, you should see a tremendous uptick in your coding speed, which translates to more work done in less time :) -
@smontana the biggest revelation has been learning to use the opposite hand for shift, I'd always used one hand to do capitals which is so much slower.

montana1428y@bluesdriven - yep, and once you feel comfortable, you'll prob start shifting both hands outward a little more from home row - it makes all the special chars easier/quicker to hit
