Big issue in many companies. Quality data is valuable.

Do null mean zero or no-functionality? Why an empty string instead of a null?
Is the default trigger in the database set to a value and it accepts null?

All this questions make developers look one to another and babble... I miss my DBA times...

yes usually people tend to keep things simple and elegant and document some sort of word babble in one form or another... this place gives so many fucks towards any form of self documenting.
