That is not my experience. Now it is, work in every browser except Safari.

Edge is very good, both from developer and user point of view. I feel the most of the time people complain about it is when they didn't even try it.

Edge is better. Still not quite on par though.
Recently tested my project and worked fine on Chrome and FF, it was ok on Edge but needed a little bit of tweaking.

In my experience it's always Safari doing weird things and not supporting the more recent stuff, especially on iOS.
