Young enthusiastic computer science student here. Was quite a long time silent reader of rants and other posts. Love this community. Today my raspberry arrived, looking forward to work with it and I just wanted to share my happiness!

Welcome! What's you're favorite language and what do you plan to build on Pi?

@k1rushqa Actually its hard to define, which language I "like" the most 😅 I do like the concept of C (and also C++), but we also use a lot of Java, which isn't that bad either.
I'm pretty much open-minded and like to try many languages in my freetime. I believe that it's more important to have fundamental knowledge of software engineering on itself. Hope thats somehow understandable :D

Raspberry pi made coding fun again for me. I wouldn't be coding in my free time if it wasn't for the Pi.

I set these 2 up and printed the case for code practice over vnc

    Nice Case @Markd721 !
Yea I'm happy to make some programming exersices with the pi, at the moment I'm not pretty sure what it's gonna be, but I like the idea of workin on some little DIY projects.

@Chimi thanks! Pi 3 runs to hot in the thing though. It has a Pi 2, and a B+ in it right now. The pi projects are fun. I'm working on an RSS server similar to Tiny Tiny RSS, but with Guest log in support and SMS updates. Good times

Day 2: realized that I ordered an actual raspberry pie when I couldn't find the HDMI or CAT5 jacks. Ate it and reordered on element15.
