This one actually looks pretty real (barring the fact that I don't have an account with Navy Federal Credit Union, nor have I or any relation of mine ever been in the Navy.)

Upon closer inspection, it appears that in addition to a couple bits of missing punctuation and a complete lack of identifying information the reckless little scamps forgot the most important part of the whole thing! None of this message is a hyperlink. They forgot to include the fraudulent link to the form they are hoping to get their "victims" to fill out.

@pxgamer Honestly I don't get it. How are these emails so awful? Why don't they just take proper english courses before they start trying to scam? Why wouldn't they ask real native speakers to correct their mistakes before they send this stuff? It just seems like if they could get the grammar part to be flawless, it would work way more often ...

@zt0ne yeah, I may or may not have fallen for a scam, which pretend to rent a flat extremely cheap with a tennee in SA and a local renter who advertises it on Facebook. Two email addresses, a probably bought and/or hacked 5 year old Facebook profile with regular activities and some friends and of course flawless English with professional looking contracts and photos are all you need to steal 600 Euros untraceably (because the "lady" in SA wanted the money fast) from a poor student like me.😫😭

The reason they dont try harder is that the people that might fall for it wont see through the spelling.

Those thar cringe at the spelling will probably not be fooled any how.

@vringar God, I feel sorry for you but that's exactly what I was talking about. If they would just invest some time to actually make it believable they would fool a lot more people.
