When you get hired for backend work and are tasked with nothing but front-end work. I gave up a solid position for this?!

    This is why I'm always skeptical about job postings. The people who write them may not really know the requirements that well.

    Thing is a friend got me in here. Told me it was all backend work. I just spent the first weekend at my new job working almost the whole time.

    Did they give you a reason for the front-end work? Maybe it is short term and then back-end.

    @Jumpshot44 I was told "it can change at any time". In the interview and from my friend I was told it was backend and API only. My first ticket was a Javascript ticket. I'm a python engineer
