Actually happened today.
The noob who had recently moved into another team, was just able to build up a half-assed solution and left the refactoring to his former co-workers.

He told us something like "i honestly didn't understood what i'd coded last week. I wasn't able to meet the codestandards and had no time to learn about it"

So we have to spend the time later on to clean up the mess.... *Gosh!!!*
