I am pretty sick of people treating developers like forever alone geeks that roam the internet 24/7

I mean I am one but my point stands..
It does !

I'm sick of developers acting like they are. Most developer I ask to pair on screen-hero either are afraid for me to see their code - or to be seen coding on the spot - or think that I'm going to steal their magic functions that they alone could craft with their amazing brains.

Me: Goddamit, just because I like computers doesn't mean I'm some introvert shut-in!

Friend: Cool, you trying to go to this party tonight?
