    Nooo, I quite like it. Not my fav favourite language but up there. It seems sometimes java gets as much random hate as php :P

    Was the first language I had to learn & got me into programming :) don't be an elitist. That's what people hate.

    I've always liked the strict typing, simplicity and the "no magic" philosophy of Java. Try Kotlin or Scala for a familiar style but more features and expressivity!
