Ok, I understand HTML and CSS. I want to learn a new language. Any suggestions?

Obviously javascript if you want to improve your understanding of html and css.

And maybe php and mysql if you want to try backend devving

A little bit of vanilla javascript, and then python (for Django framework). Try to build a simple app like blog CMS or a notebook, from start to finish. Building something will keep you going, only learning the language alone will bore you very quick.

Make something big with them. You'll probably find yourself naturally stumbling upon the next useful tool you need go learn
