@hjk101 Just making a mess, not a terrible one... the gamble of continuing to code worked.
But that's assuming that the mess I found them making was all that happened. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that more was happening that I don't know about. -
Always remember that the mess is fractal: If you look closer, you will see more of it - and you know more of it. If you aren't good in keeping secrets, that knowledge could seriously hurt you in court later...
Keep on coding. -
EDragon12154yI know that feeling, that silently growing black whole growing in your stomach with the possible scenarios while you try to weigh your options of going to investigate and the time it will take you vs. how bad the damage could be also how much more work you could have done in that time it took you to go see that they've made a huge mess and now you really can't go back to coding. ugh yeah I would just skip it and keep coding. lol

The tough part is going "oh yeah, the lack of social interaction is hard for most people".

We invested in a video baby monitor for the playroom. The screen sits on my desk next to the laptop. One of the best work from home purchases ever.

@devphobe we got one too but the app is garbage, I’m one more minute of buffering away from making my own IoT device.
Working from home in 2020:
Both kids haven't interrupted me in an unusually long time.... That likely means they're up to no good.
On the other hand I'm getting a lot of coding done (bunch of fixes done / misc new tasks done).
So now I sort of do a little mental math to guess if the damage they might be doing is less than the value of me getting shit done for work....
