So, what are your most favorite methods of saving interesting articles about algorithms, functions or simply news so you can read them later when you have time? I find myself storing links to interesting web pages without really going back to them or remembering which link was what. I shifted to storing the links in evernote but it's still not what I'd ideally like to have...

If there are any recommended routines, apps or tools that make stored links insightful (like allowing me to add a quick description or automatically adding a sort of preview of the link), I would appreciate it!

Please note that this is primarily about saving a resource while I'm on the go or simply can't/don't want to spend too much time on the actions.

Just storing will not work. Store and review them later. You can store anyhow if you will then go and review the stored content.

Just keep the tab open until you read it

Try using GetPocket, you can categorize the links by tags (and then later search for them) it already shows the link previews, you can also setup email notifications (so you get a sort of a newsletter-like email with a list of your saved links for the week).

Plus you can use it's free extension, makes life so easy!

@mcfly interesting! Especially with the shortcut. I'm gonna take a look at it, thank you

@iiii true, that's why I wanted something where I can quickly scribble down what a certain link contains or preferably do that automatically. I usually take a quick glance through the article, but still need something to write an abstract on.

@electrineer sadly I'm more of a "close whatever whenever you can" kind of guy haha

@inhamul did you mean "Pocket"? I cannot find anything else. But thank you, certainly interesting with the email and tags!

@NEMESISprj in that case maybe Evernote or OneNote are suitable. Google Keep as well

@penless very interesting concept! Sadly I'd prefer to archive everything that I've already read since I like to use some articles as reference when needed later. But this app is really interesting for "normal" articles/posts, thanks!

@iiii yeah I already tried Google note and evernote, but they were both missing something that the other had (i.e. structure or quick insight view/creation).

So far Notion and Pocket seem great, with Notion giving me a little more freedom on how to save and review something. So thank you all for your suggestions!

I just keep tabs open, then I slowly consume them stack-wise
