I agree. But it's one of the few ways Mac users have to tell themselves apart, so let them be happy.

tytho23168yI had some of some logos of software I was using. Ending up removing them because the logos were out of date or I wasn't using the software anymore. Maybe I should have kept them as battle scars...
-
nmunro31908yWhy? Because I want to. It's my laptop to do with as I wish, there isn't and doesn't really have to be any other justification beyond that.
Same with car decals I suppose. -
Koolstr27908y@nmunro you're free to do what you want, but the implication of your actions is a projection of the uniqueness of your character. Decals are inherently designed to be judged by others.

nmunro31908y@Koolstr Everyone judges everyone else anyway. We judge based on stickers, or brands, or operating systems or editors, might as well be something as pointless as stickers to get the judgement out of the way.
Besides I'll judge others based on their judgement of me who then further judge me for judging them and eventually we get some form of stack overflow exception... -
IMO, buying stickers and sticking them is useless. But winning them and sticking them? That's badassery 😎
-
baskoros6968yTrust me, it's not an unpopular one. I'm genuinely looking for an alternative place to proudly stick laptop stickers on. Any ideas?
-
They're like travel mementos for me, but instead of my laptop, I put them on by laptop lap board.
-
baskoros6968y@Drastic whoa where did you get that Github Student Dev Pack sticker? Can't seem to find it anywhere on the store.
-
Koolstr27908y@nmunro lol pretty accurate. I'll let you judge me for judging you based on your spelling. For future reference, it is spelled "judgment."
-
Koolstr27908yWhen people get a new laptop, do they transfer over all their stickers from their previous laptop or let them go?
I have an unpopular opinion. I think laptop stickers are ugly in general. They make a cacophony of brand names and colors on an otherwise sleek device! Why!
