Anyone here know what Linux Polaris is?

I can’t find any information about it online, but the server I am logged into claims to be called Polaris. Haven’t ever heard of it.

Plenty of people repurpose old phones as arm server, or arm dev. Usually you'd go busybox though.

If it's *86, it's not a phone, just a retargeted kernel. It'd be an odd choice.

Your bigger problem is it's using a kernel from 2012. That server is likely a giant ball of CVE

old centos servers do not have access to updates anymore (servers are down). And also ssl support is stuck at non working version.

sidenote: it took them two weeks to figure out that they were blocking my SSH access calls. When confronted, they blamed it on my internet.

got 2Kbps over 10mbps line.
same router, computer, cables, provider - but different ISP, got the whole 200Kbps of the 1.5mbps of the Second ISP line...
