I got Matlab certificate from their own website after series of tutorials that you can see the answer if you click hint button. You can literally cheat that certificate 100%, I hope there aren’t many like that.

They alone can't work, It compliments other achievements, Just being a certificate collector won't help

I have seen some cases where people were valued a lot for their certs but they didn't have any practical working knowledge. -
@mElonMusk Exactly, but in your case you have the knowledge. Those people might get the job but will suffer later. The Rumour that certificates help is only prevalent in India, nobody actually cares about them if you are skilled.

Actually only juniors knows that the person with certificate is having skill or not. Upper management people don't give a fuck.
And if you as a subordinate complain, then you are doomed. Good luck with that.
