Nobody owns you! Don't take the shit. They pay you to work a number of hours, working beyond those is exploitation unless agreed and contracted and remunerated. Have a word with them tell them you are not happy. See what happens. Write everything down dates times and what is said, you may need it if they try and push you out, you can sue the fuckers, otherwise it may well turn out great. Good luck!

gprabhat728y@helloworld I am planning on leaving. No job security. They fired one of my friend just cause boss didn't like the way he worked. Also they aren't paying him for a month's work. And l feel I am not learning anything new here. Time to move on.

I know how you feel; not too long ago i was an 'Applications Administrator', which entailed admin and dev work for a massive itsm implementation 24/7, but they wrote my job description vaguely so they could pile on many, many additional projects that were not what i was originally hired to do. I was salaried, so when i moved from 40 hours per week to an average of 60, it was practically for free. After about a year of this, and being told i had the best performance of anyone in the department and would be getting the highest performance raise, i get a 3% increase while everyone else gets 1-2%.
Couple of months after that i received a job offer to work with the same platform elsewhere for 50% more $ with more realistic expectations. I took the job as soon as the offer was made and have been happy for the past 8 months. They've even given me a substantial raise since. It can get better. If you're not happy, shop around.

I am a web app developer by profession and software engineer by qualifications but when there is a problem with router, firewall or a server needs to be setup, whether internal or for client, all my employer can see is me. Sometimes i get too tired of this shit. Also I am expected to work at home during night as if I don't have any life outside this field. I need to enjoy my life with I am young. I am twenty and stuck. Fuck it.
